Additional details have surfaced as Jonathan Majors has been found guilty of two of the four charges he was facing; third degree assault and harassment.

Majors was not found guilty of intentional assault in the third degree, as well not guilty of aggravated harassment in second degree

Wade "Deadpool" Wilson isn't Marvel Jesus.

Loki Laufeyson is.

Particularly, the Loki we follow throughout his titular 2 season series on Disney+. Spoilers for Loki, btw.

He "died" for our "sins".

He sacrificed his own freedom so that all of the multiverse might be liberated from the schemes of a controlling madman named Kang. He literally gave "us" free will, whereas all of creation would otherwise unwittingly be subject to Kang's whims as he shaped the timelines to his own benefit. Now we are truly free, so long as Loki tends the tree of life.

Given all of that, I'm truly worried about Loki's role in Avengers: Doomsday. It's unlikely Marvel would recast Tom Hiddleston as another character, except maybe as another variant. Doomsday's significance lends to the probability that the God of Mischief and Stories will appear in some capacity, but why? The titular TV show was an epically tragic, yet beautiful sendoff for the character. If nothing else were to be done with him, I couldn't complain. Using Loki again only runs the risk of disgracing his story... or upending his sacrifice to feed a conflict that seems ready to rattle the cosmos.

Something BIG must be preparing to take place in Doomsday, knowing the rank of certain characters in the scale of the universe. Let's just hope Marvel can balance their vast roster of actors and characters with doing justice by the stories they've built up along the way.

Infinity Wars Emma Frost

Infinity Wars was a 2018 event comic that pretty nakedly attempted to cash in on the success of its MCU counterpart. It really sucks, but there's some fun Emma Frost moments.

It gets better, trust me.

When we first see her she's melded with Logan, because Gamora remixed Thanos and instead of killing half the universe she combined two souls into one on a grand scale. 'Diamond Patch' is literally just Logan that says darling a lot. Emma would hate this.

Loki explains the gibberish that led to this situation and a dull bad guy shows up to get stabbed.

Diamond Patch leans on some phoenix time travel nonsense to summon Phoenix Logan. Ugh. Duggan reused this 'message your future self' trick much more effectively in Cable 2020.

Great, The Phoenix saying 'bub' - the concept is truly dead. I feel a bit bad for exposing people to this, but the two are split and Logan exits the story. That must have taken some restraint.

Emma takes Charge and insists she the motorcycle with Loki on the back. As it should be.

She somehow stands up to Gamora with all the Infinity Stones/Gems and takes the Power Stone for herself. As the stone operates from the wielder's mastery of mind, Emma is king shit. I'm kinda surprised they didn't use the much more recognisable (and Omega telepath) Jean Grey for this, but I'm glad Emma gets to flex.

That's a terrible BDSM joke, I'm not sure it makes sense. Then again I'm ace, so maybe someone more experienced can confirm or deny.

Unsurprisingly, they (yeah Kang, Ant-Man and Kamala showed up) are betrayed by Loki. However, his scheme sucks and they win anyway. Adam Warlock arrives to delete this silly universe and all is well. I'm just here for The White Queen tbh.

Honestly, in retrospect, phases 4 & 5 shouldn't have been setting up "The Multiverse Saga" but instead should've been "The Next Generation Saga."

Think about it. We got Eli/Patriot in FatWS and in the new Captain American movie coming up, Billy and Tommy in WV & Agatha All Along, Kate in the Hawkeye show, Cassie in all of the Ant Man movies and America Chavez in MoM, all we need is Teddy and we've got the Young Avengers.

We've also got Ms. Marvel and Riri as new solo heroes.

Setting up the Young Avengers would make more sense since all of phase 1 was setting up the OG Avengers and with how the YA get together in the comics, having the team set up after Endgame would make perfect sense!

Also would be way more simpler to set up then the multiverse
